Takiya Taylor, LPC, LSATP, NCC

Takiya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Old Dominion University. She received a Masters of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling from Liberty University. Takiya is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner and is a National Certified Counselor. Takiya specialize

Takiya specializes in individual and group therapy for addiction and substance abuse.  Takiya also specialize in working with adults, children and teens with mental and behavioral health diagnosis. Other areas of focus include trauma, grief, couples and marital issues, individual, and family therapy utilizing a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness  therapy, tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

Krystina Richardson

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

 Krystina Richardson is a Navy veteran and has earned a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from South University-VA Beach. She received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University-VA Beach. Krystina Richardson specializes in individual and group therapy for children and teens from 

 Krystina Richardson is a Navy veteran and has earned a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from South University-VA Beach. She received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University-VA Beach. Krystina Richardson specializes in individual and group therapy for children and teens from ages 5 to 18 with mental and behavioral health diagnosis with emphasis on ADHD, Autism, DMDD and anxiety and depression. Other areas of focus include trauma, individual, and family therapy utilizing a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, aggression replacement therapy (ART), solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral intervention for trauma in schools (CBITS) tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Krystina believes in discovering and becoming the best versions of ourselves and meeting individuals where they are with empathy and compassion.  It is important not to change an individual through therapy but to assist and guide the individual into discovering where they are and the changes, they are ready to make.

Tiara has her license as a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work since 2018. She is a graduate of Norfolk State University. Tiara provides therapy through a strength-based approach and cognitive behavioral therapy. The goal is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself. Tiara believes that everyone is resilient and can bounce back from life adversities.   

LaKesha White

LaKesha White is a Resident in Counseling at NLSAW Counseling. She received her dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2012. In 2023, LaKesha Graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. She is also a Qualified Mental Health Professional. LaKesha has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, middle age, and older generations. CBT is utilized during sessions to help provide a way to express emotions and experiences. Mrs. White incorporated "Living Life With Purpose On Purpose" in her therapeutic interventions.

Rhonda Tucker-Williamson

Supervisee in Clinical Social Work

I am a Licensed Medical Social worker and supervisee in pursuit 

of my LCSW. I am a retired Navy veteran and part of the 

LBGTQ community. I am here to empower and challenge 

you to be the best you that you can be. The military has taught 

me to deal with anxiety, depression grief and isolation 

and My goal is to empower you to improve your 

mental health so you can function at your best. I utilize a 

holistic person-centered or strength-based approach to 

provide quality compassionate, culturally sensitive, and 

evidence-based mental health care. I have a specialization 

in grief therapy, but I am also experienced in depression, 

anxiety, personality disorders, addiction, relapse, and 

issues that affect the LBGTQ community.
